Situated in the historic plantation town of Hali’imaile, Maui Pineapple Tours takes guests on an exclusive experience of Maui’s pineapple heritage. Learn about the unique growing cycle and cultivation techniques of Hawaii’s pineapple and Maui Gold®.
There is only one place in the United States where you can take a tour of a working pineapple plantation. That is on Maui at the Hali’imaile Pineapple Plantation. This is a really fun tour, one of the most fun in Hawaii. It’s educational, eco-friendly, scenic and tasty!

We are now offering two tours Monday- Friday at the Hali’imaile Pineapple Company. The first tour is from 9am to 10:30am and the second tour is from 11:45am to 1:15pm. Guests will enjoy a guided tour of the harvesting of Maui Gold® pineapple fields, the packing and shipping factory and one free pineapple. Guides use informational and colorful commentary to weave history and trivia into an authentic and memorable pineapple tour. Guests are encouraged to taste the various stages of the Maui Gold pineapple while learning the history and fascinating facts of this sweet fruit. Each guest gets a pineapple to take home as a sweet souvenir.

The tour is held in Hali’imaile at: 875 Hali’imaile Road, Hali’imaile, HI. Check in for the tour is next to the award winning Hali’imaile General Store restaurant. Admission cost is $65 for adults and $55 for children 5-12 years of age.
